Data content of the register
The person’s first and last name, street address, postal code, postal town, e-mail address, telephone number and other information necessary for the delivery of the subscription and newsletters and any service and maintenance tasks.
Regular data sources for the register
The customer enters the information on Finnwind Oy’s website, in the online shop or on the websites of Finnwind Oy’s partners, and the information collected from the customer during the customer relationship.
Regular data disclosures
The controller will not disclose customers’ personal data to third parties, except for tasks required for the performance of the contract, such as submitting a grid connection notification to the distribution system operator and e.g. the transmission of information necessary to fulfil any warranty obligations to the component manufacturer for warranty delivery and/or settlement.
Data will not be transferred outside the EU/EEA.
Principles for the protection of the register
The data required to manage the customer relationship is stored on a WebCRM server outside Finnwind Oy, to which only Finnwind Oy’s employees responsible for register matters and customer relations have access rights. The data is protected by a username and password. The billing system is hosted on Finnwind’s own server behind a firewall and anti-virus protection and access is restricted to billing staff only.
Right of access, rectification and erasure
The customer has the right to review and rectify the data in accordance with the GDPR. In such a situation, the customer should contact the controller and the person responsible for the register and the request for information should be made in such a way that the right of the person requesting the review and/or correction of the data is sufficiently clearly established in accordance with the law. The customer has the right to have his/her data erased from the register, except for data that are necessary to maintain, for example. The data may not be deleted from the database unless the data is required to be kept in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in Finland or, for example, in order to protect the data. In the case of data retention in accordance with the law of the country of residence, the data may not be kept by the data subject unless it is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship and the fulfilment of obligations.
