Arkta Ilokkaanpuisto, Ground-Mounted Solar Park

Ilokka Solar Park in Teisko, Tampere, produces its own renewable solar electricity remotely for four housing associations in Koivistonkylä, Tampere.

Finnwind Oy carried out the solar park as a turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project, from the design and permitting phase to connection with the medium-voltage grid. The solar park was commissioned in three phases between 2022 and 2023, in line with the progress of the surrounding residential area’s construction. The foundation of the solar park was built using screw piles, and the mounting system was fitted with Tier 1 manufacturer Suntech’s solar panels, installed in a double-stack configuration. The turnkey delivery included earthworks, fencing of the solar park, and maintenance services.
